Animals in Nunavut

Animals in Nunavut are generally abundant. They are able to survive in a large amount of open water, as well as snow and ice. One of the most amazing natural attractions in Nunavut is the Arctic Marine Park. This park features an incredible amount of wildlife, including a wide array of fish, sea mammals, seals, turtles and fish. {and whales. There are also a large variety of birds, including Bald Eagle, Blackbird, Great Horned Owl and Northern Puffin. The park has also managed to preserve a vast amount of fish in their reserve. As an aside, the Arctic Marine Park is also home to a huge population of walruses.

The beauty of this area can be enjoyed by walking along the beautiful beaches of Iqaluaq, or simply watching the sun rise and set over the horizon. There are also plenty of places where you can enjoy an adventurous day hiking.
